My first week holding the title of personal started off great if you ask my taste buds, not so great if you ask my feet. As with any job, being a personal chef comes with it's own highlights and challenges. The highlights, great work environment (love this family), I learned a fabulous new chicken recipe and lucked out at Whole Foods on beautiful heirloom tomatoes. The challenge, cleaning pots (why is it that expensive pots and pans also come with severe cleaning issues?),  cooking for a family with several dietary restrictions including gluten free, dairy free, and peanut free. I used everything from web recipes to magazines to my own culinary experience to create the meals. Overall things went well and I am way exited about the upcoming menu. Check that out next week!

Week One Delights:
Chicken Marbella.
Grilled Sirloin
Sauteed Carrots
Honey Cashew Chicken with Brown Rice
Gazpacho
